THE PERSON BEHIND THE MUSIC
Danté DePerno is a DJ and electronic music producer based in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Originally from Warren, Michigan, a suburb of Detroit, Danté grew up surrounded by music, mainly being influenced by his mother and father's love for KISS, Eminem, & Prince.
He began producing original electronic music in 2020 and stepped behind the DJ decks in 2022, quickly becoming a fixture in the local nightlife and event scene.
Since then, Danté has performed at venues and events across Sioux Falls, including The Hello Hi, The Lie’brary, 18th Amendment Neighborhood Bar, PAve, ICON Sioux Falls, Club David, Wileys Bar, Dahlia Kitchen + Bar, Full Circle Book Co-op, Shenanigans Sports Bar & Grill, Great Shots, and The Den.
In April 2022, Danté opened for San Holo at PAve in downtown Sioux Falls, an opportunity made possible with support from Pinnacle Productions.
His DJ sets move fluidly between genres while adapting to the energy of the crowd.
Alongside live performances, Danté continues to produce and release original electronic music. His work is available on all major streaming platforms, including Spotify, Apple Music, and SoundCloud.
Whether performing late-night DJ sets or creating new music, the goal remains the same: bringing people together through sound.
